This love story is beautiful and devastating. Miles’ backstory absolutely broke my heart. How long it took him to reveal kept me theorizing all of the reasons he was so shut off. His redemption arc was more beautiful than the entire book put together. I’m not really a fan of Tate and her whiny personality, but I can see how she and Miles complement each other. The brother was introduced in a role I though would take more substantial turn. I guess I just expected him to play more of a leading role; instead, he seemed to me like a side character almost.
If you’re in to complicated relationships, this is your story. Five out of five stars for execution and the emotional ability to wreck your heart.
