WHAT?!
This book is so action-packed I nearly lost my mind trying to follow along.
Aelin is back in town, and she’s looking for revenge. Embracing her true identity, she has come to fight for everything she holds dear. That is exactly what she does. Looking to reclaim her throne, she readies her court and prepares to head home to Terrasen.
I love the switch from Celaena to Aelin. Outstanding, as usual. It’s everything I wanted when the last one ended. Redemption arcs, revenge, action. Of this one, I enjoyed Manon’s development most of all. The relationship between Choal and Aelin get’s so awkward but still enjoyable.
This leaves us with a feel-good, happy ending kind of emotion—definitely another five out of five stars.
