Lily needs to escape her life in small-town Maine. So that’s exactly what she does. Lily meets Ryle on a rooftop in Boston, and there are undeniable sparks. Months later, she runs into him again by happenstance. She can’t help but compare him to Atlas, her first love. Atlas’s reappearance in her life draws some doubt in her current relationship. As things darken between Ryle and Lily, Atlas becomes the only person she can trust.
The twist in this story was so gradual I didn’t see it coming. I was shocked by Ryle’s character development. I could relate to Lily in SO many ways regarding how she handled that aspect of their relationship. I will forever be in love with Atlas and the man that he is. He’s truly amazing. I did enjoy watching Lily’s dreams come true throughout the story.
I give this novel five out of five stars for being everything you’d want in a love story.
