A story that made me take a look at my relationship with my own father, Heart Bones will leave you breathless.
After Beyah is forced to move in with her absent father, she begins to resent the life he lives and could have given to her. Meeting Samson helps her to forget her struggles, but Samson is not what he seems. Beyah is about to be in for the ride of her life.
This love story is everything you’d want someone to do for you, and the commitment expressed is once in a lifetime. The twists in this story were pretty predictable, but the execution was terrific. As a Texas resident extremely familiar with the island, I thought Colleen Hoover captured the atmosphere perfectly.
The only bad thing about this story is that it wasn’t memorable. I read it two months ago and had to read the synopsis to try and remember what happened. I give this novel four out of five stars.
