This was a super cute and cozy holiday read.
It was a slow start, and I wasn’t prepared for the point of view changes, but once I got into it I was pleasantly surprised and happy that I decided to push through. However, I’ll forever wonder what Cassian threw into the river.
I took off a star because it doesn’t necessarily fit with the rest of the novels. I know it’s just a novella, but I would’ve liked it written in the same tone as the rest of the books.
Still, the background information gathered was nice, and it was exactly what I could’ve asked for in a late December read.
