How well do you know your siblings?
Lena quit talking to her sister two years ago. When Desiree turns up dead, Lena heads out to set the record straight. The rumors surrounding her death aren’t true. Or are they?
This story was enjoyable enough for me to make it to the end. I wouldn’t say I liked the way the story panned out, and the characters lacked depth. I enjoyed the way Garret slowly revealed the secrets and the background coming together piece by piece. I don’t know that I’d really label it a thriller so much as suspense.
It wasn’t my thing, but I can see how others may enjoy this slow-paced thriller. I give it three out of five stars.

About Kellye Garret :
Kellye previously spent 8 years working in Hollywood, including a stint writing for the CBS drama Cold Case. People were always surprised to learn what she did for a living—probably because she seemed way too happy to be brainstorming ways to murder people. A former magazine editor, Kellye holds a B.S. in magazine writing from Florida A&M and an MFA in screenwriting from USC’s famed film school. Having moved back to her native New Jersey, she spends her mornings commuting to Manhattan for her job at a leading media company—while still happily brainstorming ways to commit murder.
